Gingerbread House

We were thinking about doing a gingerbread house for Christmas. I've never assembled a gingerbread house before. Does anyone know what the spec is for gingerbread electrical? Do I need to have grounded gingerbread outlets? Also, can I get a gingerbread tax break if I install gingerbread solar heating? Am I going to have to pay fees if I build in a gated gingerbread community?

Maybe we'll just do blueberry muffins.

The nice part about gingerbread is that its price wasn't affected by last year's hurricanes.

Well now, about 40 years ago, electrical for your gingerbread house was done with Twizzler strings, which you could buy off the candy rack. Now that they have iced gingerbread circuit boards, really it's better to update the entire wiring even if it costs you a little more. Since you're in a warm clime, you can probably get away with Cheez Whiz for insulation, but for the best R value for your buck, best to go with Marshmallow Fluff.
